The Format

Day 1 · Group Play

  1. You'll play 5 matches against 5 different opponents over the course of the day. Your full schedule is on the My Schedule tab.
  2. Two matches happen on every court at once. One pair plays from the head of the court, the other from the foot. Stay clear of the other game when you're not shooting.
  3. Return your scorecard to the tournament host after every match. This is how we track standings — we can't post results until your card is in.
  4. Live standings update on this site after each round so you can see where you stand.

Day 2 · The Bracket

  1. The top 8 players from Day 1 advance to a single-elimination bracket on Sunday.
  2. Seeding is by Day 1 record with head-to-head as the first tiebreaker. Among players with the same record who didn't play each other, seeding is decided randomly.
  3. Shootouts are only for the cutoff. If players are tied for one of the final spots and we can't sort it out by record, we'll host a quick shootout right after Day 1 to decide who's in.
  4. Every Day 2 match is best-of-3. Win two games to move on. First to the final wins the whole thing.
Head & Foot

What Side Am I On?

If you've never played non-walking singles before, here's the gist: instead of switching ends after each frame like in a walking game, you stay on your end the whole match and slide all your biscuits from the same side. Your scorecard tells you whether you're at the head or foot of the court — that's where you stand for the entire match.

Both players shoot from their end, biscuits meet in the middle scoring zones, and you score from whichever end you're on. Easier on the legs, easier on the floor.
